Autumn we are loving you! Cooler weather, soups, hot chocolate treats and snuggling up with warm blankets.

The kids and I have been to the pumpkin patch. Two really. Our first trip with friends was to the same patch we’ve gone to every year that we’ve lived in the area. The sun was bright that day and the kids found their perfect pumpkin.

Perfect pumpkins, ready for carving!
Next up was a farm field trip with the kids’ school. I just love that they can go together.

We were all excited! Noah kept talking about elephants, and I didn’t want to break it to him that you don’t see those at the farm. But he didn’t seem to mind, he was soaking in all the other fun to be had including: seeing horses, cows, goats, going down slides propped up on hay bales, taking a hayride and bounce houses.
We now have five pumpkins (two not pictured) ready for excited little painting and carving hands.
Happy Autumn Days.

Still trying to talk my 13 year old into carving pumpkins but she isn’t buying it…
