Remember when I posted our M&M countdown jars? Well, about a month ago I was over at a friend of mine, whose husband is also deployed and she had jars full of kisses for her little ones to count down their daddy being away. How perfect is that? So Noah and I hung out one day and filled these jars.
They have been so fun. I mean if you can’t have real daddy kisses, the chocolate variety really is the next best thing… especially because they are the dark chocolate variety. Cami actually has two jars, because a sweet friend of ours made her an m&m countdown jar.
The kids get one kiss a night, to count down daddy’s return. I love this last picture of Cami. Its like she’s imagining her daddy and enjoying that we are one step closer to seeing him again. 
Daddy kisses, they are the best! Can’t wait for the real ones to return.

What a beautiful way to count down the days. My husband is not deployed, but he does travel every week, so I will have to remember this.
