Chris and I celebrated 9 years this weekend. NINE. We are almost into the double digits.

We had an overnight getaway, thanks to the awesome planning of my husband and the sweet babysitting of my sister. I haven’t left Noah overnight since he was one and Chris has informed me that didn’t even count since what we did that time was a football game with friends. This trip was the most time we’ve had to just be together.

One thing I love about my guy is his sense of humor. Cami says we laugh all the time. She asked Chris the other day, “why are you always making mommy laugh?” He said “cause I like to.” :) This weekend was full laughter and sparks, and definitely a good thing to do before a deployment. I wish I got more pictures of the winery we went to and the hotel/b&b we stayed at, but I was having such a good time that I only remembered to pull out my cell when I saw this cool image of the wine barrels on our tour. It was such a fun, perfect trip.
