Cami has been asking and asking for me to get her hair cut short. Everytime that I brush her hair, she gets upset …

a serious downer.
So today we actually did it. I was a little nervous after I saw the first big snip, but reminded myself this is what she wanted.
I have to admit that I am pretty smitten with it, and hope she keeps it this way for a long while. No more tears, low-maintenance and adorable!
I talked her into wearing her elephant tee, which is one of the new prints that I will have listed in the shop soon. I have several things that I hope to have listed there as I get ready for the show. Right now, we are wrapping up the end of summer, but soon the shop will be filled. Cami agreed to let me take a few pictures of her in the shirt, in exchange for me hanging out front with her while she climbed the trees.
A little more about the elephant print. It will be up in the shop in a couple weeks. Also, I will be printing this party elephant from Noah’s birthday on little onesies. Its too small for adult sizes, but fits so adorably on infant onesies. If you are interested in either, you can message me through etsy and let me know what size and style.

she looks SO cute withe the short hair. We have gone through the same thing — the hair gets too long and unmanageable and they cut it short. I always love it when it’s that length. (part of it is that I can see their pretty little faces better, too!)
Love the elephant print. And the party elephant. When is your show? I can’t wait to hear how it goes.

I love that haircut. I love little girls with short hair (even as I am trying to grow mine out). I am always trying to talk my girls into getting their hair cut shorter and shorter.

Love love love her haircut. My girl has opinions about her hair, too. Usually, it is an annual chop like Cami’s, but this year, length with bangs. I admit, the bangs make for fewer fussies, but I don’t like them quite as much as seeing her whole face.
