I’ve been working on a few little projects around the house.
New napkins. Our vintage white napkins were getting pretty raggedy (white doesn’t seem to work for us) so I made a few from random fabric to add to our daily stack. It has been a bit of time since I’ve heard the hum of the sewing machine, it was nice. It also just felt good to lower my stash of random fabric and make it into something useful.

I also made a little name sign for Noah. Using scrap fabric and then hand-stitching on felt letters.

I’ve been working to finish Noah’s room. His is actually the first fully finished room in the house (after 8 months – the rest is about three quarters there), pictures coming next week. He has never had a room or never a finished room since he’s been born, so I wanted to finish his spot first. He’s been on my mind a lot lately with different stuff we’ve been working through and having tested. My heart wanted him to have his space, filled with warmth. He plays in there a lot!

Love the banner you are making.. Noah will appreciate is a lot..
I love the fabric you’ve chosen for the banner..
I love the name sign you are making for Noah!!
Your napkins look great. Good idea to use patterned fabric. I really should make some for our table. Love the banner.
I feel your love for Noah through your recent posts, Erin. I suspect there is a lot going on for him that your mamma heart is working through and it is clear you are giving so much care to him. It makes me smile. (And I can relate!) I cannot wait to see his room!
You have posted about sewing in so long, I had forgotten you sew. (The little snack sacks I sent are super simple, as you could see. Now I am reminded you could make more!)
Love the fabrics you used, for both the napkins as the little name sign. Very cute. I think nothing is as rewarding as making a child’s room comfortable and pretty. It’s so important.
Love your napkins! I need to post a bunch of pics of my little projects. That skirt is coming to Cami! I had the fabric and I just knew it was supposed to be a skirt for her. Not sure if I’ll open shop. I guess I’ll see what it’s like with two; if I have any free time left, haha.
eek, I’m so excited! Cami is going to LOVE it!!
I’d love to see pics of what you’ve been up to. Love the boys room!
