For Valentine’s this year we made playdough.

We follow these playdough recipes, they even have a gluten-free recipe. We colored it with kool-aid, red and purple, of course.

Using valentine’s stickers Camille decorated the tin lids (Noah helped too). We bought our tins here, and then placed mini heart cookie cutters inside that I bought here.
They were a sweet non-sugary little gift, that would be great party favor gifts, or simply a little gift to give to a friend.

Oh, what a wonderful gift idea! And I love that you made them for valentine’s day. Thanks for the link to the tins I have often wanted to have something different for our play dough to be stored in.

What a cute idea! There is way too much sugar involved in our kid’s holidays!

I love the addition of the heart cookie cutters! Such a sweet idea. My daughter and I made heart-shaped paper with flower seeds this year and heart-shaped crayons last year. Playdough is at the top of my list for next year. Thanks for the idea!

Lovely idea! There is no big valentine celebration here, but it would also be great as a party pack item.

That is so cool! So much better than regular play-dough and it keeps longer too! I will have to remember this. I always feel like when I make homemade playdough I’ve done something nice for my hands too.
