This page is to remember the many little things that my babes say
… things that I do not dare want to forget.
Camille as we are driving over the Coronado bridge: “This is where daddy’s ship swims”. (Feb 2011)
Cami seeing a plane in the sky screams excitedly: “Look mom, a comet!” Cami: “do you have a baby in your tummy?” Me (worried): “No why?” Cami: “I want you to have a baby in your tummy, cause I want a little sister. Pleeease can you have a baby in your tummy.” Noah: “I wa youuuuuuu” (I love you).
Cami: “mommy, what do you call that?” Me: “The park, what do you call it.” Cami: “I think its called heaven.”
I told Cami that daddy was out running errands she said: “No, I think he’s running Chris’.”
Noah, whenever he gets in trouble cover’s his eyes and says “pee-a-boo”. How can I resist a smile. Camille: ”how many babysitters in the world are there mama?” when our babysitter moved. Cami to me as I’m packing snacks before we leave the house: “I don’t need a snack because I have on my lipstick.” (what a girl) Before putting the kids to bed one night, Cami was talked to for taking all Noah’s legos from him. Her response (in such an adult tone): “Guys, I love you, but you need to be sweet to me.” ”How do babies come out of your tummy?” Camille on June 21st One night right after Camille passed some gas she said: “its just a little funny butts.” I told Cami her pants that Aunt Beka gave her were too big, we had to wait until she grew a little bit. “Yeah, I need to grow a bigger bottom.” Camille: “When I grow up, I’m going to have the face God gave me, because I love him so much.”
